Slaton is a railroad town and it still reads like one. Southeast on US-84 out of the yard and we are on the edge of town in twenty minutes, which makes Slaton one of the easier same-day runs on our map. Inside town the older streets are narrow with mature trees planted right up to the kerb, so we watch the low limbs on the approach and set where the truck can lift clear. Where the alley is open and firm we will use it and keep the box off your drive entirely.
